Classically trained, Rik has been fortunate enough to collaborate alongside a wealth of award winning producers, directors and writers. With combined success from a lead appearance in BBC Sci-fi smash hit, TORCHWOOD “Children of Earth”, costume drama performances’ in FOYLE’S WAR and in the period movie, Anton Chekhov’s THE DUEL, he is currently shining his energy on playing slick businessman Nikhil in ITV’s EMMERDALE. His theatrical pedigree was proudly established in 2004, delightedly winning a prestigious Laurence Olivier Bursary Award in association with The Society of London Theatre.
